Short Fuse is a monthly cabaret style literary club devoted to the short story form. Each month between four and six writers read their story. Stories are hand picked from submissions for their originality, craftsmanship and quality. This live lit event sees established writers read alongside talented newcomers on an equal footing.

5 July - Carte Blanche
Local writers, including Linda McVeigh (Short Fuse 2008 slam winner, and Small Wonder 2008 slam winner), Julia Collins, Peter Deadman, Caroline Ward-Vine and a special open mic slot for flash fiction. Bring your 50 - 650 word story along on the night for a chance to step up to the mic!

If you have a story you would like to read please email it as a word attachment to shortfusestories@yahoo.co.uk. Stories should be no more than 3000 words and no less than 50!
